Six games that can even be enjoyed by children or board game beginners have been prepared in the room. In addition, up to four more games can be rented from the 2nd floor and taken to the room! (A normal room's rental limit is 2 games)

Here are the 6 games included in the room.
Geister, Sea Turtle Island (Mahe), Quarto, Blokus, Catan, Machi Koro

Geister

Game duration: approx. 30 minutes

The psychological board game "Geister" was released over 30 years ago and is widely regarded as a masterpiece. This game's rules are deceptively simple.

In this two-player game, you will compete for pieces like in chess. The pieces are split between blue ghosts and red ghosts. Take all the of the opponent's blue ghosts and win, but beware… take all their red ghosts and you lose!

Your opponent can't see which of your ghosts are red or blue.
Throw your opponent off in this battle of the minds!
"He seems to be protecting this ghost... so it might be a blue one!
...but what if he WANTS me to think that and it's actually a red one..."

It will only take about 10 minutes to finish a round, but you won't be able to put this masterpiece down!

Sea Turtle Island (Mahe)

Game duration: 30-60 minutes

Take your turtle piece on an adventure in "Sea Turtle Island."
A simple, relaxing game with a friendly atmosphere.

A game for 2-7 players. Each player chooses a turtle in their favourite color and places it on a squid to start.

The active player rolls three dice one by one to advance the turtle. If the total dice value exceeds 8, the turtle will return to the start so be careful!

One lap on the board is 21 squares. If you manage to roll 3 dice with a total of 7, you can clear one lap in one turn. Each time you arrive at the goal, you can take a revealed point card. The game continues until all point cards are done and the player with the most points wins.

Here is the twist of the game:
If you stop on the same square as another player, your turtle gets on top of that player. In order to get off the bottom turtle, the top player must roll a number specified by the bottom player. If players make the goal stuck to each other, the top player takes the price card. There may be instances where the price card is not worth many points, so it may be better to not reach the goal at all, or carry another player to make them take the card!

There a many outcomes and strategies to this simple game, so each die roll is exciting!

Quarto

Game duration: approx. 30 minutes

The traditional board game "Quarto" is as famous as "Othello" in France. "Quarto" is a very simple 2 player game where you win by aligning the pieces vertically, horizontally or diagonally.
The pieces in Quarto are white and black and unlike Othello, you can put your pieces wherever you like. Additionally, they have different characteristics like height, shape, and number of holes, so you have a lot to keep track of in order to complete your row and win the game.

The twist of "Quarto" is that the opponent chooses the pieces that you have to put on the board.

For example, in the photo above, the right column with the tall pieces and the ones with holes has double the reach, and the diagonal column has double reach with the black and round piece.
Give your opponent white and square pieces with no holes to stall them.

The game seems complicated, but one round only takes about 5 minutes!

Blokus

Game duration: approx. 30 minutes

Place as many blocks of your own color adjacent to each other as you can!
Strategically block your opponents. It feels so satisfying to get in the way of another player's plan!

Catan

Game duration: 60 minutes

Use resources to create and develop towns and roads in this world-famous game. Catan is the critically acclaimed winner of the German Game Awards in 1995.

This is a game for 3 to 4 players, but can be enjoyed by 2 to 6 players by adding additional rules and expansion sets.
Players are tasked with exploring Catan Island while collecting resources that are produced by the dice. Accumulate points in various ways to win, with every action requiring these resources.
Since dice are used to generated resources, in order to get ahead of everyone, you will need to commence cunning trade negotiations with your opponents.
A masterpiece board game that makes 90 minutes pass in the blink of an eye.

Machi Koro

Game duration: 30-60 minutes

Collect coins and grow your city in this board game! A city planning game that can be enjoyed by children and adults alike. Nominated for the German Game Awards in 2015.
2 to 4 players take their turns clockwise. When it's your turn, roll the dice and earn coins according to your roll. Purchase wheat fields, family restaurants, convenience stores and more with the coins you earn. The more facilities you have, the more coins you earn when you roll the dice.

Be the first player to use your wealth to build the large "goal" facilities and win the game.
Amass lots of coins with lucky dice rolls. A game that even board game beginners can enjoy!
