Join the SANJA MATSURI Festival in Asakusa

The SANJA MATSURI festival is one of the three major Edo festivals. (It is held on May 17-19, 2024)
Based on Sensoji Temple, many portable shrines are held on the surrounding routes.
It's only an opportunity once a year, so you should definitely participate during the deadline.
Participation in portable shrines from various regions is held, and you can see portable shrines on any road near Asakusa. There was also a portable shrine where children could participate, and even children of tourists could enter from the middle. I think I could enjoy going there with my family. The Sensoji Temple area was more lively than the summer festival, and there were more big stalls. Near the stalls, there was a place where portable shrines for portable shrines were parked so you could see scenery that you couldn't experience at ordinary festivals.
