Since it is gonna be summer and a lot of festivals are coming, I tried to do a kimono/yukata rental, and surprisingly, it was cheap for it also has a free hair set included. In the plan I chose, there were a lot of good yukata color choices that were included. Despite being busy, the staff were energetic and kind to teach me where to go next and had patience when I was not able to choose what to wear and to do for my hair. They gave me choices and recommendations for it. The place was also systemized and had a lot of English instructions. First would be choosing the yukata, getting helped by the staff to wear it, going to have the hair done, choosing and applying the obi, and lastly, payment. It was smooth and was done around 1 hour.

One-Stop Service from Head to Toe – Experience Traditional Japanese Costume in Ginza
・It's hard to find store signs, so you need to refer to Google Maps. However, by going up a few small stairs on the first floor, you can find an elevator, which helps a lot even if you have luggage.
・Yukata rental price varies on the design. Decorations and obi ties can be made more fancy for an additional fee.
・I think the design diversity is the most attractive feature. This time, I chose a premium retro-type yukata. It is a see-through yukata, so you wear it with a layer of underwear, just like a kimono.
It may be expensive just to rent a yukata, but since they help you with the full set from head to foot, I thought it was a great way to experience Japanese culture!
There are yukata for children, kimonos, and more subdued designs for adults, so men and women of all ages can enjoy the experience.
