The staff can't speak English or Chinese, but they are able to provide customer service and hands-on experience using a translator. The experience was very fulfilling, but I felt it was difficult to understand them because of the language. The Tale of Genji and other ancient Japanese stories are deeply related to incense, so it would be difficult for foreign guests who are not familiar with these stories. However, the store sells many beautiful things to look at, such as precious fragrant wood and incense burners (for burning incense), and when I visited, guests from overseas were eagerly listening to the staff talk about incense burners.
