Soba House Daishizen has an atmosphere like an old house. All the customers seemed to be locals. The menu is written in both Japanese and English. I ordered shrimp tempura soba and chicken tempura as an appetizer. The staff was very kind. The chicken and shrimp tempura seemed to be homemade and had a light taste. The texture of the soba was great. It had that perfect soba "cut" when I bit into it. The shrimp were fried perfectly and tasted very fresh. It tasted like authentic homemade food. The restaurant was cheap, the soba was delicious, and it really felt like I was in JAPAN, so I recommend it to guests who have never eaten soba before or are visiting Japan for the first time!
