Kids Connect Beyond Language Barriers, While Parents Enjoy a Refreshing Break in Ginza
“ANO-NE Kids Club” Event Report
Hourly Private Reservations Now Available — Ideal for Birthday Parties, Family Events, and Children’s Workshops

On May 5, 2026, the company held a special event at ANO-NE Kids Club, its indoor play space for children, where kids visiting Japan and children living in Japan had the opportunity to meet and interact.
ANO-NE Kids Club was developed by leveraging MIMARU’s unique strength as an accommodation brand, where more than 80% of guests are inbound families traveling with children.
The facility is designed to provide children with natural cross-cultural experiences through play, while offering parents a valuable opportunity to enjoy worry-free personal time.
This report shares highlights from the event, where children naturally interacted and connected with one another beyond language differences.
ANO-NE Kids Club has also started accepting private hourly bookings, allowing guests to enjoy the facility as a comfortable private space.
The space can be used for a wide range of occasions, including birthday parties, graduation celebrations, school-year advancement celebrations, local community events, and more.

■ Background: Creating “Free Time” for Parents and a Place Where Children Can Play to Their Heart’s Content in the Heart of the City
For many families, travel and weekend outings often become centered entirely around the children, making it difficult for parents to truly relax or enjoy time for themselves.
In city-center areas in particular, there are still limited options for places where children can play actively and freely, or where parents can safely leave their children for a short period of time.
In addition, as globalization continues to shape the way families live and travel, there is a growing need for children to experience natural cross-cultural exchange through everyday play.
In response to these growing needs, MIMARU is introducing a new urban family experience that combines safe, engaging playtime for children with valuable time for parents to relax and recharge.
■Event Report: Connecting Beyond Words Through the Universal Language of Play

On the day of the event, children enjoyed a variety of activities, including active play, kamishibai storytelling with some English, origami crafts such as samurai helmets and message cards, and coloring koinobori carp streamers.
Children who had never met before were seen running around together, teaching each other how to fold origami, and naturally connecting beyond language differences through play.
ANO-NE Kids Club is designed as a two-story open atrium space. It features an athletic play area where children can move their bodies freely, as well as a relaxing area where they can read picture books or lounge on large cushions, and another area where they can enjoy origami, toys, and creative play at their own pace.
From the large windows, children can also watch trains passing by. Even between event activities, many children were seen sitting by the windows, completely fascinated as they watched the trains go by.
The space allows children to spend time in their own way, while naturally encouraging interaction with others.
Many children who took part in the event shared comments such as, “I want to stay longer!” and “I want to come back again!” The event ended as a great success.
■ A New Value for Families: Giving Parents Time for Themselves
While the children enjoyed cross-cultural experiences at ANO-NE Kids Club, parents were able to spend their time in their own way.
Some enjoyed shopping and strolling around the Ginza area, while others took the opportunity to have a relaxed meal together as a couple — enjoying rare “adult-only time” that can be difficult to find during family trips.
Parents who participated in the event shared comments such as, “Because I knew my child was having fun in a safe environment, I was able to enjoy my own time without feeling guilty,” and “I would love to use this service in many everyday situations, such as having lunch with friends, going to a hair salon, or seeing a theater performance.”
Each family member enjoys a comfortable and fulfilling time in their own way, then reunites and talks about their experiences on the way home.
This is the kind of new urban family experience we hope to create at ANO-NE Kids Club.
