Enjoy the Starry Sky Amid Ikebukuro’s Busy Streets
What comes to mind when you think of Ikebukuro? Shopping? Chinese food? Anime?
Well, today I would like to introduce you to a relaxing way to spend time learning about the stars!
On the rooftop of Sunshine City, there is a planetarium. Here, you can enjoy a planetarium like no other.
The program I saw was narrated by a popular voice actor and looked at the starry sky of Italy.
I was able to learn about the stars while also enjoying Rome's famous architecture.
There is also a “Healing Planetarium Program” where you can relax with aromatherapy during the projection.
Free English audio guides are available for some of the screenings, but not all are translated. The official website is also unavailable in English, but you can download brochures in English, Chinese, Korean, and Japanese.
