A Japanese Restaurant Serving Fresh Fish Daily from Tsukiji
I went there for lunch. It is a hearty bowl of rice, perfect for adults or children who have great appetite. The owner of the restaurant is said to be proud of the freshness of his fish, as she goes to Tsukiji every morning to procure it. Also, since the restaurant is a family-run business, all the dishes have a homey feel, which is sure to bring a local atmosphere to foreign diners. The menu is extensive, and it seems that even those who do not speak Japanese are welcome. Furthermore, they seem to be able to grill fish according to the wishes of the guests, so groups with small children and pregnant women who are not accustomed to eating raw food can also be accommodated. I think the strengths of the restaurant are the reasonably priced fresh fish, the affable owner and staff, and their willingness to listen to the wishes of the guests. On the other hand, its weakness is that the menu is all in Japanese and is a smoking establishment due to its izakaya (Japanese-style bar) concept.
