Fluent English-Speaking Staff Teach You to Make Wagashi

Matcha Café Cha Zen is a shop that welcomes foreign visitors with open arms. For the handmade Japanese sweets experience, you can choose one of two types of seasonal sweets. You will be able to choose your own favorite bowl and plate. It is easy to get here from Asakusa Station, which is only about 3 minutes’ walk away. The staff at this place are very polite and friendly. The staff speaks English, so getting instructions in English will not be a problem. The experience lasts 45 minutes. You are not allowed to take videos while making Japanese sweets. However, you can take as many photos as you like. You can also experience the tea ceremony. The staff member said that the tea ceremony is very popular among overseas visitors. You can also buy packets of matcha tea from the café to take home as a souvenir on your way out.
