Shiretokogo Lake
Shiretoko Five Lakes, located in Hokkaido, consists of five pristine lakes surrounded by untouched forests. The area offers stunning views of the Shiretoko Mountain Range and the Okhotsk Sea. It is also a habitat for various wildlife species, making it a perfect destination for nature lovers.
When we went to Hokkaido, we thought there wouldnt be any snow, turns out the next morning we saw our first ever first-day of snow and it was mesmerizing!! The next day the roads were already covered in snow, and it felt like we were in a movie…. What a beautiful view!! Would love to stay longer 💕
What Could Be Better
We’re only here for a bit 😭😭😭 we WANT MORE DAYS!! Hehe, in all honesty, nothing really disappoint us, except some toilets in rest area/gas station doesnt have a working bidet.
Things good to know in advance
Book some attractions in advance. For example romantic train in Kyoto, because it was always full booked! Or, if you want to experience making your own fragrance in Kiyomizudera, go visit “My Own Fragrance” to book it a day in advance :)
Conveniently located one train ride away from Ginza, Tsukiji and Ueno without any transfers. Within walking distance of Nihonbashi, a center of Japanese culture, and Ningyocho, a traditional downtown area.
Only a 4-minute walk to Tokyo City Air Terminal (T-CAT) which features direct buses to major airports. Head to Tokyo Skytree® or Shibuya straight from Suitengumae Station.
