Japan’s Oldest Children’s Library

The oldest library for children in Japan, dating back to the Meiji era.
It is a Western-style building modeled after foreign libraries. In order to convey the benefits of reading to children at a time when children are starting to lose interest in reading, you can freely enjoy books from various fields, such as picture books, picture books, novels, etc., that children can enjoy in the facility!
Particularly recommended is the ``Sekai wo Toru Hall,'' which sells many children's books from around the world. Books from many countries are on display. The Museum has many exhibitions related to children's books, and you can see picture books from all over the world with explanations!
The ""Children's Room'' is equipped with lights that are easy on the eyes and do not dim easily, and there is a space suitable for reading!
