Only a minute's walk away from our hotel, as we took pictures outside the restaurant, the owner came out and greeted us directly, sharing today's special menu. He also mentioned that they have 60-70% foreign customers, which is why they provide an English menu and have part-time staff who can speak English. Since foreign customers may not be familiar with Japanese-style barbecues, the staff assists them in getting started and explains how to use the grill. Every item in the course menu was delicious and generously portioned. Additionally, you can upgrade to Bibinba for an extra charge, which is quite delicious and warming.
We were seated at a table on the first floor, where we enjoyed the barbecue while chatting with the staff. Alternatively, you can choose to sit on the second floor, which has a traditional Kyoto wooden house ambiance and private rooms if needed. The menu offers a variety, including yakiniku barbecue, shabushabu, course meals, à la carte items, all-you-can-drink plans, takeout options, and it is child-friendly. Most importantly, foreign customers are warmly welcomed.
