Experience Japan’s Service Culture at Asakusa’s Longest-established Sukiyaki Restaurant

Customer service was wonderful, and I felt the hospitality of Japan. The staff could handle English to some extent. The restaurant is a two-story building with private rooms, making it suitable for large groups. The official website offers information in English and Chinese, and reservations can be made online (TABLECHECK).

The prices are on the higher side, but I believe it's worth it for the delicious food and the fact that it's the oldest sukiyaki restaurant in Asakusa. This time, I experienced the sukiyaki set for lunch, which included rice, salad, pickles, chawanmushi, miso soup, egg, and the sukiyaki itself, leaving me fully satisfied even as an adult. Apart from sukiyaki, there is also a shabu-shabu course.

The interior has an ambiance that combines both Japanese and Western styles. Since shoes are not allowed at the seats, you need to remove them at the entrance. The restaurant uses exclusively high-quality marbled meat (black-haired Japanese female cattle, with a fat grade of 4, a fattening period of 30 months, fine-grained marbling, and a meat weight of up to 480 kg).
