When you enter the restaurant, the first thing you see is the counter. The friendly staff warmly greets you. The place feels new with its two-story layout but still has a cozy atmosphere.
The staff is very friendly and happily answers any questions with a smile. It was mentioned that about 70% of the customers are foreigners, and an English menu is available, although the staff only speaks Japanese.
The most delicious dish for me was the first appetizer—raw meat served with a raw egg. For someone like me from the West, it was a new and exciting taste experience and truly delicious.
Enjoy nature along the nearby Kamo River, with easy access to Kiyomizu-dera and Gion. On-site facilities include a gym and first-floor kids' play area.
