Marine-Inspired Italian Dining in Ueno

Italian restaurant located near Ueno station central exit on the third floor of a building called Fundes. The position is really convenient because it is just a minute's walk from the station's main entrance. There is a slightly maritime sophisticated atmosphere with suffuse lightning. The menu has some different options; there are some starters, pasta, pizza, and secondo (mainly fish) dishes. As in izakayas, when you enter the shop, the waiters welcome waiters greet you with Italian greetings in chorus. You can choose the course menu or to order a la carte. You can decide both what kind of fish you want to eat and how it is cooked. They have some options such as baked, marinara style, Sicilian style, or with olive oil and spices. The course menus are in Japanese only, but the single-item menus are written in both Japanese and English. The staff can`t speak English, so they use a translator to communicate.
