Why take the normal train when you can enjoy Tokyo from the Sumida River by taking the Tokyo Cruise？ The Tokyo Cruise can take you to many destinations, such as Odaiba, Toyosu, or Hamarikyo Park. You are allowed to eat small snacks or drinks on the boat that can be purchased at the Asakusa terminal cafe. There are also boat routes that will take you back to Asakusa as well. For the Hamarikyo park route, the boat will take you inside the traditional Japanese park itself. Here you can enjoy the nature and beauty of a Japanese park. Once you get a bit tired, we recommend you take a rest at the tea house located in the middle of the lake. Here, you can try traditional Japanese sweets called Jo-namagashi together with green tea. Jo-Yamanashi is a sweet that has mochi outside and red bean paste inside.
