A Noodle Shop with Unique, Chewy Whole Wheat Noodles and Delicious Broth
I visited the restaurant on a weekday evening at 6 PM, and the place was almost full, but I was able to be seated quite smoothly after a 15-minute wait. The interior has a calming atmosphere with a blend of traditional and modern Japanese design. I purchased my meal ticket at the entrance vending machine, which offers menus in both English and Chinese. To start, I enjoyed the noodles as they were, then dipped them into the soup, and for a flavor change, added a bit of sudachi (a citrus fruit). The fish-based soup had an amazing sweetness and was absolutely delicious. The whole wheat noodles were unique and chewy. I ordered the regular size, which was quite filling—more than I expected. As with dipping noodles, the soup tends to cool down, but the restaurant offers a warming service to keep it at the right temperature. The staff was very attentive, and their service was excellent.
