MIMARU hotels that feature Pokémon Rooms are hosting a special event for summer vacation: guests who play the Pokémon Card Game Sword & Shield Family Pokémon Card Game (on sale July 9) during their stay will receive a Pokémon Room sticker set. The Family Pokémon Card Game will also be available to purchase at the hotel in limited quantities. Sale and rental of the Family Pokémon Card Game


The Pokémon Card Game is a two-player trading card battle game based on the world of the Pokémon video game series. It has been produced and sold in 13 languages to date, and is played and loved by children and adults around the world.

The new Family Pokémon Card Game, going on sale July 9, includes everything you need to play the Pokémon Card Game, as well as “Starter Guides” geared towards children and adults, making it perfect for first-time players. Beginners can learn the rules of the game by reading the guides while playing, and the included items make storage a breeze.

MIMARU hotels with Pokémon Rooms will offer the Pokémon Card Game free for rental, and guests who borrow the game will receive a free Pokémon Room sticker set*,**. In addition to the Family Pokémon Card Game, the Itsudemo Dokodemo Family Pokémon Game (a version which does not include Starter Guides) will be available for purchase**. Guests who are staying in rooms other than the Pokémon Room are also welcome to borrow or purchase the Pokémon Card Game, so don’t miss this chance.

About the Pokémon Room


MIMARU’s Pokémon Room features a Poke ball motif on the wallpaper in the dining and bed areas, along with a giant stuffed Snorlax. The kitchen in the room is stocked with original Pokémon plates and cups, making it the perfect room for Pokémon fans. Guests who stay in the Pokémon Room will receive original Pokémon goods.
