MIMARU is pleased to announce that, starting Monday, November 18, Kyocera Corporation’s allergy-friendly
food service 
matoil and our apartment-style hotel brand MIMARU have launched a new meal service tailored for travelers who require food allergy or gluten-free options.  

At MIMARU, each apartment-style room comes with a fully equipped kitchen, so you can simply heat up your delivered, doctor-approved, frozen matoil meals in hot water and dine right in the comfort of your room. 
It’s safe, convenient, and made just for you. 
 

 

Making Travel Dining Safe, Easy, and Enjoyable for Every Guest 
For travelers with food allergies, mealtimes often require extra care. Dining at restaurants or picking up meals from convenience stores can be challenging, especially in a foreign country. Many visiting families bring
familiar seasonings from home and choose accommodations with kitchens so they can prepare their own
meals.
 
At matoil, we have long delivered allergy-friendly meals to such families. However, most kitchen-equipped
hotels require guests to be present to receive their delivery—meaning they often had to wait at the hotel
instead of enjoying their trip. For long-stay travelers moving between accommodations, advance checks on
refrigerator and freezer sizes, as well as available cooking facilities, were another hurdle.
 
With our new partnership, MIMARU staff will receive matoil meals on behalf of guests and store them directly in the in-room fridge or freezer. No more waiting for deliveries, and no need for advance checks on kitchen
facilities. This means that travelers from around the world with food allergies can fully enjoy their time in
Japan—without their plans being limited by meal logistics.
 
Through this service, our two companies aim to create a society where everyone can enjoy safe, delicious
meals anytime, anywhere—making travel more inclusive, stress-free, and memorable.

To ensure your meals are ready and waiting for you, please place your order no later than one month before
the first day of your stay. You can choose from our set menus, or we can create a personalized meal plan
based on your preferences and dietary needs gathered through a pre-arrival consultation. Pricing varies
depending on the menu and ingredients.
