Hakone
Hakone is a small mountain town located within the Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park. It is renowned for its hot spring resorts and views of Mount Fuji, with captivating natural scenery that changes with the seasons, making it enjoyable year-round.
We had a great time at Hakone! Due to the weather conditions, we couldn’t see Mount Fuji, but the children enjoyed the kurotamago at Owakudani, footbath at Sounzan Station, and had lots of fun at the Hakone Open Air Museum!
Things good to know in advance
We booked most of our tickets on Klook! Saves us a lot of time queueing for tickets and the process was really smooth!
