A Hidden Gem Museum Specializing in Miniature Exhibits
A hidden museum in the outside part of Tokyo specializing in exhibiting miniatures.
On the 1st floor, you will find the official store, while the main attractions are located on the 2nd floor of the building. Don`t forget to visit the cafe on the 3rd floor which is also quite particular. The museum is divided into 9 main areas.
There is also a workshop area where you can color small dolls and place them in the mini world or make your own cherry tree. There is a fee for this experience.
What I like about the facility is that it is barrier-free, with a prayer room, nursing room, and wheelchair rentals. On the first and third Wednesday of each month, “Go! Wheel Day” is held, allowing visitors in wheelchairs or strollers to go to areas that are normally inaccessible. Most of the content is in Japanese and English.
It is a fun place to come alone or with your family or children.
Conveniently located one train ride away from Ginza, Tsukiji and Ueno without any transfers.Within walking distance of Nihonbashi, a center of Japanese culture, and Ningyocho, a traditional downtown area.
Only a 4-minute walk to Tokyo City Air Terminal (T-CAT) which features direct buses to major airports. Head to Tokyo Skytree® or Shibuya straight from Suitengumae Station.
