Visit This Child-Friendly Fertility Shrine
Suitengu is a famous shrine located near the Suitengu-mae Station, and People usually go there to wish for the health of their children and for a safe birth. My first impression when I went there was that it is really modern, in a concrete jungle, and that it doesn't look like your regular shrine! You will find a gorgeous main shrine in front of you once you go up the stairs. Since it's a shrine made for safe childbirth, you will find a lot of kids running around, so I think it's a good thing to tell our guests with kids. It's usually difficult to go to religious places with kids, but not in Suitengu. When you enter the shrine's complex, you will find on the left side a dog with her pup, and it's said that if you stroke her head, you will be blessed with a child, making it a famous spot among couples! Also, a lot of people like to buy lucky charms when going to temples/shrines, right? When in Suitengu, definitely buy a " Misuzu Obi" to maximize your chance of having a safe childbirth! You can also recommend it to our guests for Hatsumode, the first prayer of the year!
