Cat Temple" is located along the lush greenery of the Takano River on the way from Kyoto City to Ohara. Operated by the Kaye family, who are artisans specializing in painting Buddhist images and ceiling murals for shrines and temples, it now features a variety of cat-themed goods, a café, and a gallery. In the shop, handmade items from about 130 artists are sold on consignment. You can find unique cat art and adorable cat merchandise that can only be found here, as well as heartfelt creations!
