Happiness is KATSUDON Nihonbashi
“Katsudon Hito o Shiawase ni Suru (Katsudon makes people happy)” is a restaurant that proposes a new way to enjoy Japanese katsudon (pork cutlet rice bowl). The Nihonbashi branch is located about a 2-minute walk from Suitengumae Station.
Nihonbashi Store has limited counter seats, but takeaway is also recommended since all items are available for takeout. Just buy a meal ticket upfront, and then you're in. The menu is simple – they specialize in katsudon with a choice of three pork options. What's unique is that they don't fully cook the egg. Imagine crispy tonkatsu on fluffy eggs over hot rice! You can adjust the sauce to your liking. It's hands down the best Katsudon I've ever had. They're on Instagram, too, sharing posts for overseas guests.
Conveniently located one train ride away from Ginza, Tsukiji and Ueno without any transfers. Within walking distance of Nihonbashi, a center of Japanese culture, and Ningyocho, a traditional downtown area.
Only a 4-minute walk to Tokyo City Air Terminal (T-CAT) which features direct buses to major airports. Head to Tokyo Skytree® or Shibuya straight from Suitengumae Station.
