Savor Fresh Tsukiji Seafood at a Shellfish Specialty Restaurant
This place specializes in shell dishes and is located on the basement floor. You can feel the Japanese design right from the main entrance, which has a simple yet sophisticated design, Noren. The hall staff can speak English as well, so foreign guests will not have any communication problems. On top of that, there is an English menu, which was very helpful. The restaurant ambiance is very nice, with an open kitchen connected right next to the counter and some good jazz music playing to set the mood. The interior design is very Japanese and very minimalistic. The chef buys all the ingredients fresh every day from the Tsukiji market. The staff explained each dish with enthusiasm and ensured I enjoyed the dishes. The whole course meal was a good ride from the appetizer to the main meal. I thoroughly enjoyed the food and the ambiance.
Conveniently located one train ride away from Ginza, Tsukiji and Ueno without any transfers.Within walking distance of Nihonbashi, a center of Japanese culture, and Ningyocho, a traditional downtown area.
Only a 4-minute walk to Tokyo City Air Terminal (T-CAT) which features direct buses to major airports. Head to Tokyo Skytree® or Shibuya straight from Suitengumae Station.
