Design and Create Your Own Gold Leaf Vessel

This time, I went to a store that offered a variety of experiences and tried my hand at applying gold leaf. The activities require precise craftsmanship, and thus, the recommended age is 12 and above. The entire process of the activity you have chosen will be instructed very clearly, and if you have any questions or if you are struggling with something, the instructor will always be there to help you out. First, you will be given the opportunity to choose a small black plate or a jewelry box to decorate with gold leaf. Second, you will need to come up with a design, and then you apply the chosen design to the tableware. Once the design has been applied, the remaining black parts will need to be covered with tape. After covering it with tape, you will be given a gold leaf that needs to be applied very carefully. At the end, you will have to fill the remaining parts with some gold dust so that no spots are left. The instructor will get rid of the excessive gold dust and hand you over the final product, which you will then need to dry for at least 2 weeks. When it comes to Japanese cuisine, it is not only the dish that attracts attention but also the tableware, which has been crafted meticulously by a professional. So, guests can delight in crafting their own plates while immersing themselves in the subtlety of Japanese cuisine.
